  • Key identification features : A small annual herb, branches rooting at nodes, covered with white hairs. Leaves opposite, sessile, lanceolate. Flowers in axillary or terminal peduncled heads, white in colour. Achenes cuneate, winged with no pappus.

  • Comments : In plains to 1300 m. Common in clayey moist ground, like bunds of paddy fields, by water courses, drainages etc.
